Perolli Lock and Key Solutions LTD is a growing locksmith and automotive key services company based in Guildford, Surrey. Due to continued business growth and expanding partnerships across residential, commercial and automotive sectors, we are seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager
to lead sales growth and manage key client accounts.
This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and supporting the leadership team in expanding the company’s market presence. While the role is primarily commercial, it also includes limited operational involvement to support client demonstrations and team leadership.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial and automotive markets.
Manage and grow existing client accounts, including fleet operators, rental companies, and commercial partners.
Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements with clients and partners.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers and partners.
Occasionally support operational activities such as key cutting, vehicle key programming and direct product sales as part of client demonstrations or commercial support.
Lead, supervise and train the locksmith team and apprenticeship team, supporting skills development and service quality.
Work closely with operational staff to ensure sales activity aligns with service delivery and customer expectations.
Provide regular performance and market insight reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
Skills and experience
Proven experience in business development, sales or account management.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Experience leading, training or mentoring teams is highly desirable.
Knowledge of locksmithing or automotive key programming is an advantage but not essential.
Willingness to travel within the operational area as required.
The role requires regular domestic travel across the UK and occasional international travel to meet suppliers, manufacturers and commercial partners. Flexibility to travel on short notice is required.
Additional advantage for candidates with visa‑free access to Turkey and Balkan countries, though not essential.
