About the Role A key client of mine is expanding their engineering team in Bedford and are recruiting Electrical Design Engineers at multiple levels, from Junior through to Senior. You will contribute to the design and development of electrical control systems using EPLAN Electric P8, supporting projects across concept design, detailed engineering, manufacturing support, and commissioning. Responsibilities will scale with experience and capability.
Key Responsibilities (by Level) Junior Electrical Design Engineer
Support the creation of electrical schematics and documentation in EPLAN under supervision.
Assist with updating drawings, panel layouts, and BOMs.
Learn and apply relevant standards and engineering practices.
Work closely with senior engineers to develop technical skills.
Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve solutions.
Provide basic support for panel build, testing, and commissioning activities.
