Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace. J & H Aitcheson is one of those trade names and is looking for a Sales & Service Supervisor at their Manassas, VA location. Pay for Sales & Service Supervisor is between $18 and $28 per hour at this location. Are you outgoing, knowledgeable, and service-oriented? Do you enjoy building relationships and providing an excellent customer service experience? Do you like to lead others? If so, then we'd like you to join our team as a Sales & Service Supervisor. About the Role:
You will: Supervise a team of Inside and Outside Sales Representatives. Provide training and guidance to Inside and Outside Sales teams to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Work with your Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets. Serve as an escalated point of contact for customers with inquiries or concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Process Sales Orders and Bids generated through telephone sales transactions. Grow and retain an established customer base and develop new business using outbound telemarketing campaigns. Meet or exceed the Profit Center's monthly required GP targets. Assist customers in all aspects of their orders. Investigate and resolve customer problems; address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure. Support all Sales activities and all Profit Center activities as part of our Profit Center team. Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer's business that might cause a credit risk. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required. About You:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales; contractor sales preferred Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center Our ideal candidate will also: Possess leadership qualities and be viewed as a leader. Have experience promoting a productive and positive team environment, and coaching staff to do their best work to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, customer contact files, and to analyze customer data. Possess outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills. Demonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell. Build influential relationships and trust with customers and vendors through open and interactive communication. Be able to ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections by recommending profitable solutions, explain our value-added services, ask for the order and close the sale. Be able to build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers. Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders. Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The Benefits of Working With Us:
