Purpose of the Role Collaborate closely with the internal R&D team to deploy cutting‑edge deep learning technology that powers critical Yoti products.
Role Dimensions Sitting in the AI Services Team, reporting to the Head of AI Services.
Principal Responsibilities
Work closely with team members and the team lead to ensure technology development and delivery meet specifications and quality standards.
Deploy mature machine‑learning models into production environments—data centres, cloud platforms, or devices.
Support planning, development, maintenance, and testing of machine‑learning models while applying software engineering best practices.
Maintain machine‑learning tooling and infrastructure that utilizes production data for R&D projects, improving scale and efficiency.
Develop and maintain the production data pipeline for the R&D team.
Identify and evaluate new patterns and technologies to enhance performance, maintainability, and traceability of machine‑learning systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Experience writing network‑facing server software in Go.
Experience with computer vision and Python.
Knowledge or interest in Triton, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
Knowledge or interest in Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Linux proficiency.
Experience with modern version control tools (Git) and practices (commit messages, code review).
Familiarity with shell scripting and command‑line tools.
Knowledge or interest in cryptography.
Prior R&D team experience is beneficial but not required.
Commitment to delivering high‑quality technical solutions.
Proactive learning and staying current with new technologies.
Effective communication within a close‑knit team environment.
Interview Process

Call with Head of AI Services (45 min) – virtual.
Coding Assessment.
Final Interview (90 min) – virtual.
