Reports to Senior Marketing Lead
Job Description Main Duties
Creating, editing and proofreading content across a range of channels, including social media, websites, PR, customer emails and veterinary partner communications
Optimising web and blog content for SEO to improve organic visibility, working with analytics tools to identify opportunities for refinement and growth
Managing and delivering our social media calendar, using tools like Hootsuite to schedule posts and report on performance
Writing press releases and supporting the delivery of PR campaigns that raise awareness of the Vetsure brand
Creating content and materials that support our vet partners, such as newsletters, case studies and launch toolkits
Working with teams across the business to ensure a joined-up approach to brand messaging and tone of voice
Supporting the planning and promotion of external campaigns, events and key milestones
Monitoring media coverage and reporting on the performance of communications activity
Person Specification Skills and Competencies
Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style across audiences and formats
Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimisation and content performance analysis
A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Understanding of content marketing with experience creating content for both B2C and B2B audiences
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite
Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders whilst still being confident in working independently
Qualifications and experience
Previous experience in an external communications or PR role (in-house or agency).
Experience in the pet, insurance or the veterinary sector would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications in communications, marketing or journalism an advantage.
