Our expanding logistics operation in Las Vegas, Nevada, is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outbound shipments. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurately picked, packed, labeled, and dispatched efficiently. Your role is vital in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong attention to detail, and be committed to workplace Safety. You will work closely with the warehouse team to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling orders.
- Verify order details against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Operate shipping software to generate labels and track shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding shipments.
- Perform other related duties to support the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and automated systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and carrier requirements.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to wear and utilize appropriate PPE.
