Our distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our logistics team. This comprehensive role involves a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and that customer orders are processed with speed and accuracy. You'll work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing various warehouse equipment and adhering to stringent safety standards. The position requires physical stamina, including consistent lifting, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work area. We provide all necessary PPE to protect our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock products in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for the entire shift.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
