We are hiring experienced Reach Truck Operators to enhance our logistics operations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth flow of inventory within our warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timely availability of goods. This position demands a high level of skill, precision, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work in a busy distribution center environment and must be adept at navigating tight spaces and managing loads. We provide comprehensive PPE to ensure your safety. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Pick and place inventory in designated storage locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and system updates.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is kept clean and free of obstructions.
Requirements:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to using all required PPE at all times.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends if necessary.
