Your responsibilities will include preparing shipments, verifying contents, and coordinating with various shipping carriers. This position plays a critical part in our supply chain, ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable delivery. You'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment that values speed, accuracy, and safety. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform tasks involving lifting, and a strong adherence to all safety procedures. We provide the necessary PPE to ensure your well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify order details and shipping information.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and methods.
- Generate shipping labels and manifest documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for pick-up schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Conduct final inspections of shipments before dispatch.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to lift packages up to 40 lbs.
- Capacity to stand and move throughout the shift.
- Dedication to following safety guidelines and using all required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
