Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation to meet operational targets.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and improve team performance.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience enforcing them, including PPE usage.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
