Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified products from warehouse shelves based on order documents.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before proceeding.
- Package items using appropriate materials to ensure they arrive safely.
- Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work station.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet established quotas for picking and packing efficiency.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Alert supervisors to any stock issues or irregularities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to stand for long durations and perform manual tasks.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with general logistics processes is a plus.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and regulations.
