Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Carefully pack orders using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for collection by shipping carriers.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Conduct visual inspections for damaged goods or order discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management tasks.
- Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Always wear the appropriate PPE as required by the job.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting up to 45 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety best practices in a logistics environment.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
