Are you detail-oriented and organized? We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include counting stock, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and assisting with cycle counts and physical inventories. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that our inventory data is precise and up-to-date, which is essential for efficient order fulfillment and stock management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Track the movement of inventory, including receipts, put-aways, and shipments.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the warehouse.
- Process inventory adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in using inventory management software is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform accurate counts and meticulous record-keeping. Must be comfortable with physical tasks, including moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds) and standing for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment is required. This role is key to our operational efficiency.
