We have an opening for a dedicated Receiving Clerk at our Omaha, Nebraska facility. This crucial role ensures that all incoming shipments are managed efficiently and accurately, setting the stage for our successful logistics operations. You will be responsible for verifying deliveries against orders, inspecting goods for quality and damage, and accurately entering received items into our inventory system. Key Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the contents of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all received goods for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system.
- Organize and stage incoming products for put-away by other team members.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe receiving dock area.
- Report any receiving issues or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support the logistics team.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a warehouse receiving role is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and moving packages. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency for data entry. Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures. A commitment to accurate record-keeping and efficient operations. Must be dependable and punctual.
