We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our bustling warehouse in San Jose, California. This role is vital to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are processed with speed and accuracy. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, gathering them for orders, and preparing them for shipment by packing them securely. Efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are key requirements. You will work collaboratively with a team to meet daily targets and contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics. Safety is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected at all times. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately identifying and retrieving items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verifying product information against order details.
- Packing items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Following all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Conducting quality checks on packed orders.
- Assisting with inventory tasks and stock replenishment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team performance goals.
- Contributing to a positive and productive warehouse environment.
