We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all goods are handled with care and precision. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding our high standards will directly contribute to our overall success in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect products for damage and discrepancies.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all PPE guidelines.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
