This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, playing a crucial part in our logistics process. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they are packed correctly and safely. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and scanners.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to read and understand order forms.
- Capacity to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Awareness of warehouse safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
