We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our fast-paced logistics facility in San Diego, California. This role is essential for ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. The Picker/Packer will be responsible for both picking items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong work ethic. You will work with various warehouse systems and equipment, and must prioritize safety at all times. Proper lifting techniques and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a growing e-commerce and logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and any damage.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, using correct packaging materials.
- Verify order details before finalizing packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks responsibly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Contribute to achieving daily picking and packing quotas.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics and shipping department.
- Must be capable of regular and substantial lifting throughout the shift.
