We are seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics activities. You will perform a range of duties including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A keen eye for detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. You will contribute to maintaining an organized and safe workspace, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience across various aspects of warehouse operations and logistics. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order tickets.
- Pack products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for shipment and load trucks as needed.
- Stock received goods onto appropriate shelves or storage locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent work.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics efficiency through dedicated task completion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
