Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve palletized goods.
- Transport materials to and from racking systems and other designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by ensuring items are placed in the correct locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trailers as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility apparel.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment; certification preferred. High school diploma or GED. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 40 pounds. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment. Must have a strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all operating procedures. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics is beneficial. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and wear mandated PPE.
