We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, ensuring that goods are handled properly and moved to their designated locations within the warehouse. Your primary duties will involve loading and unloading trucks, stocking and retrieving inventory, and transporting materials to and from various points within the facility. Adherence to all safety regulations and operational procedures is a must. We require candidates to have prior experience with various types of forklifts and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, possess excellent attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Transport goods to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all lifting guidelines and safe handling procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Excellent safety record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
