We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within our warehouse. Your precision and adherence to safety standards are vital for maintaining seamless operations and ensuring the integrity of our inventory. This position requires a proven track record of safe operation, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be handling a diverse range of materials, and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics is essential. We mandate strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and established lifting guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure and accurate placement of goods.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly staging and organizing materials.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow all lifting and material handling guidelines to prevent injury and damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
