As a Warehouse Worker, your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining an organized and safe workspace. You will be engaged in physical tasks, requiring stamina and the ability to handle various materials. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices, is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming shipments accurately.
- Stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and labeling.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including boxing, labeling, and staging.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including guidelines for lifting and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoc k for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of and willingness to comply with safety regulations, including PPE.
