We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse facility. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be handling a variety of materials, from raw goods to finished products, and must be adept at navigating warehouse aisles and loading/unloading trucks. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks with accuracy and speed.
- Conduct pre-operation forklift inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper stacking and labeling.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing and cleaning.
- Meet performance expectations for productivity and accuracy.
- Follow all guidelines related to lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and excellent working habits.
