We are seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are received, inspected, and documented accurately. Your responsibilities will include verifying contents against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, and preparing materials for storage or distribution. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety are essential. You will work closely with our inventory and warehouse teams to maintain the integrity of our stock. The ideal candidate will have experience in receiving operations, a solid understanding of logistics procedures, and proficiency in using scanning equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Verify the quantity and accuracy of received items against purchase orders and invoices.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system accurately and efficiently.
- Tag and label all received products for proper identification and tracking.
- Stage received goods for put-away by other warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including light Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Proficiency in using barcode scanners and inventory management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with logistics terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
