Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for the team and promote a strong Safety culture.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
- Oversee the operation of warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Monitor productivity and identify areas for improvement to optimize workflow.
- Handle employee relations, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Resolve operational issues and customer inquiries promptly.
- Contribute to strategic logistics planning and process optimization.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team. Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics principles. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment. Must be proficient in operating various warehouse equipment and comfortable with Lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to analyze data and implement solutions for operational challenges. A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment is essential. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
