We are seeking an enthusiastic Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibilities will include locating items within the warehouse, picking them using order lists, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy to support our robust logistics operations. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, reliable, and prioritize Safety in all aspects of their work. A strong work ethic and the ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting are essential. This is a great chance to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to a thriving business.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Assist with stocking and organizing inventory in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Contribute to achieving daily picking targets and overall logistics goals.
- Perform tasks that involve moderate Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is desirable.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability for regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Commitment to Safety and following all established protocols.
