As a Warehouse Worker, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations that keep our logistics chain moving smoothly. Your duties will span from the initial receipt of goods to their final shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. We are dedicated to fostering a secure work environment, which includes mandatory adherence to safety standards and the correct utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role is perfect for individuals who are comfortable with manual labor and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. A background in warehousing or a related field is advantageous. You will be a vital part of our supply chain, handling a variety of tasks that contribute to our overall success. The ability to work diligently, manage time effectively, and pay close attention to detail are crucial. We value teamwork and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming inventory.
- Storing materials and products in their designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately picking and assembling orders according to specifications.
- Packaging goods for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Conducting regular inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided or certification required).
- Strictly following all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Assisting with shipping documentation and order tracking.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to overall team performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Prior experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is preferred.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing for long hours, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control methods.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Punctuality and a strong commitment to work attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt within the logistics industry.
