We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately processed, packed, and dispatched on time. Your responsibilities will include verifying order details, preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping areas. A keen eye for detail is essential to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping department.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) for tracking shipments.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to safety, including the use of appropriate PPE.
