Come join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Dallas, Texas! This dynamic role is essential for the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art distribution center. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a safe working environment. Your contributions are vital to our Logistics chain, ensuring that products reach our customers seamlessly. A strong focus on teamwork and adherence to all safety protocols is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming goods.
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using scanning equipment or pick lists.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, utilizing required PPE .
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment. Must be able to perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina.
