We are looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your duties will involve using order lists to locate, pick, and stage items within our warehouse. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount. This position is essential to our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Use of RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and order progress.
- Package selected items carefully to ensure they are protected during transit.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed, including cycle counts.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for material movement.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and shipping targets.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Awareness of safety protocols and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable and able to work effectively in a team environment within the logistics sector.
