This comprehensive role involves a wide range of warehouse activities critical to our **logistics** operations. You will be involved in receiving and inspecting incoming goods, picking and packing orders with precision, stocking inventory, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Utilizing our advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners is a key part of this role. We prioritize **safety** above all else, and you will be expected to adhere to all protocols, including the mandatory use of **PPE**. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves frequent **lifting**, standing, walking, and bending. We are looking for motivated, team-oriented individuals who can contribute to our high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Your role is vital in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, directly impacting our customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against documentation.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and WMS.
- Stock received inventory in designated locations.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-conscious work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Perform regular **lifting** of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere strictly to all **PPE** requirements and company **safety** policies.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
- Support the overall **logistics** flow of goods through the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and the correct use of **PPE**.
- Understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory control.
