*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and resident-focused *Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)* to lead the overall operations of our skilled nursing facility. The LNHA is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering high-quality care, fostering a positive organizational culture, and maintaining financial and operational stability. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for serving seniors.
*Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Operations*
* Oversee daily operations of the skilled nursing facility to ensure efficient, effective, and compassionate delivery of care.
* Lead and support department managers in achieving organizational goals and promoting a cohesive, resident-centered team environment.
* Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
* Ensure the facility meets or exceeds federal, state, and local regulatory standards, including CMS and state licensing requirements.
*Resident Care & Quality Assurance*
* Promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect while ensuring quality care and optimal resident outcomes.
* Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in clinical and operational areas.
* Respond promptly and effectively to resident, family, and staff concerns.
*Financial Management*
* Develop, manage, and monitor the facility’s annual budget to ensure financial sustainability.
* Oversee census development, payer mix management, and revenue-cycle functions.
* Ensure accurate billing practices and collaborate with corporate and business office teams.
*Human Resources & Workforce Development*
* Recruit, hire, mentor, and evaluate department leaders and key staff.
* Promote staff engagement, retention, and positive employee relations.
* Ensure continued staff training, including competency validation and compliance education.
*Compliance & Risk Management*
* Maintain readiness for state and federal inspections and surveys.
* Lead the development and implementation of corrective action plans as necessary.
* Manage risk, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness.
*Community & Stakeholder Relations*
* Represent the facility with professionalism in interactions with residents, families, vendors, referral sources, and community partners.
* Promote facility reputation through community involvement and effective communication.
*Qualifications:*
* Current and active *Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)* license in the state of operation.
* Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
* Strong understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements, reimbursement systems, and healthcare operations.
* Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, lead teams, and drive quality improvement.
