We are looking for enthusiastic Warehouse Associates to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri! This role is vital to the efficiency of our distribution center, focusing on the safe and timely handling of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to the logistics process, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Your responsibilities will involve operating warehouse equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that the warehouse environment is kept clean and orderly. A critical aspect of this role is maintaining a high standard of Safety . All associates must comply with company safety policies, procedures, and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, as well as prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Stage and load products onto trucks for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Keep warehouse facilities clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Strictly follow all Safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support Logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to perform repetitive Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and proper use of PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
