We are searching for an organized and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our logistics hub in Orlando, Florida. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and processing all deliveries. Your diligence in this role is critical for maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring the smooth flow of products into our warehouse. This position requires a sharp eye for detail, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence. You'll be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring everything is accounted for and ready for the next stage.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify contents of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Tag and label incoming inventory appropriately.
- Stage received goods for put-away by other warehouse staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counts.
- Support the overall logistics operations by ensuring efficient inbound processing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers and data entry.
- Experience with WMS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE.
