Our growing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. This position is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. You will be responsible for conducting detailed cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our system. Key duties include reconciling stock levels, identifying causes of variance, and implementing corrective actions. You will also participate in receiving processes, verify incoming goods, and report any damages or shortages. A proactive approach to inventory management and a commitment to accuracy are highly valued. Our company prioritizes a secure and safe working environment, mandating strict adherence to all safety procedures and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE ). This role is a critical component of our logistics network, impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with operations, receiving, and shipping teams to ensure smooth inventory flow. Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 35 pounds may be required. Responsibilities:
- Execute regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories.
- Analyze and resolve inventory count discrepancies.
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory data within the WMS.
- Oversee the proper receiving and put-away of stock.
- Inspect inventory for damage and document findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address inventory issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and use of PPE .
- Propose and implement improvements to inventory control processes.
- Support internal and external audits of inventory.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
