Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all established safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any issues.
- Read and interpret labels and shipping documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Ability to perform frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Commitment to wearing and correctly using PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
