Join our dynamic logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan as an Order Picker. This role is crucial for our success, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse using scanning devices or pick sheets to locate specific items, verifying quantities, and ensuring items are correctly staged for packing. A commitment to safety is non-negotiable; you must follow all established safety procedures and utilize provided PPE. This position demands a high level of accuracy and speed, coupled with the ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, and regular lifting. You will play an integral part in our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy warehouse environment. Training on our warehouse logistics systems and best practices will be provided. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations
- Scan items to ensure inventory accuracy
- Prepare picked items for the next stage of the logistics process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets
