Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Inspect all picked items for damage or defects before packaging.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Securely pack orders and apply shipping labels accurately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and consistently wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity targets for picking and packing operations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to the shift supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and comprehend order forms and product identification.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual dexterity tasks.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
