We are hiring a proactive Distribution Center Associate to join our growing Logistics facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this multifaceted role, you will be involved in critical warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is essential to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. We seek individuals who are detail-oriented, committed to Safety, and possess the physical ability to handle warehouse demands. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a core member of our Logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and meticulously check incoming shipments against orders.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas within the distribution center.
- Accurately pick items for orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipping documentation and apply correct labels.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, as required.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and the use of required PPE is mandatory.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets.
- Support all aspects of the Logistics chain and warehouse operations.
- This role requires consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Champion and implement strong Safety practices throughout all duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform heavy Lifting.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions meticulously.
