We are seeking a dynamic Shipping & Receiving Associate to become a part of our Logistics hub in Houston, Texas. This dual-role position is critical for managing the seamless flow of goods into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for accurate receiving, meticulous inspection, efficient stocking, and precise picking, packing, and shipping of orders. Your role is central to maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receiving and unloading of all incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damages and verify against order documentation.
- Enter received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing freight.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support overall Logistics operations and contribute to team objectives.
- Must be capable of Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Champion a culture of Safety throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in both shipping and receiving functions within a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with WMS and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols.
