Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! This position is at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a highly organized workspace. We are looking for diligent and efficient individuals who understand the importance of precision and Safety in a warehouse setting. This role offers a chance to be a vital part of our Logistics operations. Your key duties will involve:
- Reading pick lists or using scanning devices to locate items in the warehouse.
- Accurately picking the correct items and quantities as specified on orders.
- Packing items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Boxing or bagging products, applying shipping labels, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
- Adhering to all company Safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Assisting with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Understanding and following warehouse layout and product locations.
- Communicating any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
This role requires moderate Lifting of items typically up to 30-40 lbs. The use of mandatory PPE , such as safety vests and gloves, is required.
