Come join our growing team as an Order Picker in Provo, Utah! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately pick and pack products for shipment. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work in a dynamic warehouse setting, utilizing technology to identify and retrieve items. The ability to work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and prioritize safety is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to locate and confirm items.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of product are selected for each order.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices, including proper lifting techniques.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
- Meet established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Support the smooth flow of logistics within the facility.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift. Must be capable of consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous but not mandatory. A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail is crucial. Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player. Commitment to workplace safety is non-negotiable. This role is a great entry point into the logistics sector.
