Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility is looking for a proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. This role demands strong organizational skills and a keen understanding of logistics processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all warehouse activities. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory, coordinating staff, and upholding our high standards for Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse workflows to optimize productivity.
- Manage the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to manage inbound and outbound logistics.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, Safety protocols, and the correct use of equipment and PPE.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse environment.
- Manage the upkeep and organization of warehouse space, ensuring it is clean and accessible.
- Facilitate smooth operations by addressing any issues related to Lifting, equipment, or personnel.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role is required. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential. Must be proficient in warehouse management systems. Physical demands include regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. A strong emphasis on workplace Safety and proper PPE usage is expected.
