You will be expected to follow strict Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE at all times. This position involves hands-on work with machinery, which may include significant Lifting and operating heavy equipment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting warehouse operations.
- Install and set up new equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for equipment improvement.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not performing technical tasks, including tasks that may involve Lifting .
