Job Summary:
Join our logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana, as an Inventory Control Specialist. This crucial role ensures the accuracy of our stock, which is vital for efficient operations and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for meticulous record-keeping, conducting audits, and implementing measures to maintain high inventory integrity. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain precise inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Execute regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to minimize errors and losses.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal quantities, preventing stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operational staff to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Oversee the proper handling, storage, and labeling of all inventory items.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all Safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandated use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in the receiving and put-away processes, ensuring initial accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management capacity. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with WMS software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Must be able to work effectively both independently and within a team structure. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and data integrity is required. Capability for moderate Lifting is necessary.
