Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Execute regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures to minimize errors and losses.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal quantities, preventing stockouts and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with logistics and operational staff to ensure seamless material flow.
- Oversee the proper handling, storage, and labeling of all inventory items.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandated use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in the receiving and put-away processes, ensuring initial accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management capacity. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with WMS software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Must be able to work effectively both independently and within a team structure. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and data integrity is required. Capability for moderate Lifting is necessary.
