In this vital role, you will be responsible for the movement of materials throughout our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to designated areas, and ensuring inventory is organized and accessible. Your role supports the seamless flow of our logistics operations, ensuring that products reach their destinations efficiently and safely. We are looking for someone who is safety-conscious, possesses good physical stamina, and can work diligently to meet operational demands. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from various locations within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational guidelines.
- Inspect equipment for defects before and after use, reporting any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring aisles are clear and safe for movement.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support overall warehouse operations and logistics team as needed.
- Perform physical tasks requiring significant Lifting of materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
