We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your tasks will include reading order tickets, locating products within the warehouse, carefully picking items, and then meticulously packing them for safe transit. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. This is a fast-paced environment where efficiency and precision are highly valued. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, contributing directly to the timely delivery of goods. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to our comprehensive safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Be prepared for consistent physical activity, including significant lifting and moving of products. Previous experience in a picking and packing role is preferred, but we are keen to train enthusiastic individuals with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Operate scanning equipment and assist with WMS tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety guidelines.
- Commitment to wearing necessary PPE.
