Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Boise, Idaho. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our logistics operations by safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and transporting goods to designated areas. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a growing logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Transport products and materials between different areas of the facility.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure accurate tracking of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and use all required PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and safety knowledge related to logistics and material handling.
- Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating machinery.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines, including PPE usage.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
