Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee? We are hiring a dedicated individual to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within our busy warehouse. This role is crucial for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth material flow and supporting various warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of forklift operation, warehouse safety procedures, and is committed to maintaining a productive work environment.   • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials around the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Stack and retrieve products from various warehouse locations.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all Safety protocols and company policies.
  • Ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in logistics.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE.
